FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The “ORIGINAL 155th SEMI-ANNUAL YORK ANTIQUES SHOW & SALE” is scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, September 3, 4, and 5, 2010 at MEMORIAL HALL EAST, located within the York Fairgrounds Convention & Expo Center in downtown York, Pennsylvania. This extremely popular event features 96 carefully chosen exhibitors in room settings offering an impressive breadth of antiques, including 18th and 19th century period American and English furniture, country items in original paint and decoration, fine early porcelain and pottery, Oriental carpets, quilts, hooked rugs, samplers, and other textiles, early kitchen and fireplace pieces, Native American pottery, carvings, and weavings, estate jewelry, and so much more. Melvin L. Arion, show promoter, does an outstanding job of assembling participants with an eye to keeping the variety of merchandise here as broad as possible, thereby ensuring that just about anyone can find a “new” treasure at York. In addition, all major credit cards are accepted, making buying as convenient as possible.

The show has such a sterling reputation that there's very little dealer turnover, especially remarkable considering the number of participants. In fact, this time, there will be only ONE new exhibitor-Neverbird Antiques from Surry, VA. Such a small change in show participants not only gives visitors the opportunity to really get to know the dealers from whom they're buying, but also provides exhibitors the chance to cultivate new customers, bringing items specifically for them.

Because of the outstanding over-all quality of merchandise offered here, this York Show is considered by many to be one of THE PREMIER antiquing events in the mid-Atlantic region!

Show hours both Friday and Saturday are10a.m. To 6p.m., and Sunday from 11a.m. to 5p.m. Parking is FREE. The building is smoke free. Food will be available. In addition, Memorial Hall East is air-conditioned.

ADMISSION is $10/person, $9 with this article or an ad.
